This round table will analyse great cathedral archives. The great libraries that were built over the years will also be examined. There will be an analysis of cathedrals as centres of musical creation: their musical archives, their collections of instruments, their choirs and orchestras. There will be a discussion of great acts of devotion connected to cathedrals and their reliquaries. There will also be a focus on charitable/welfare institutions connected to cathedrals. In addition, there will be a discussion about the intangible religious and ethnographic heritage connected to secular celebrations, ceremonies and rites.
